I have to say I am officially terrible at this regular posting. I am so busy and I'm not even back at school yet. I am going to apologise in advance for not posting every day during the school term as I will likely be even busier!
So anyway...
We are now in the third week of my Plastic Free July 2016 Challenge!!!
It has been such an awesome experience running this challenge and it has given me heaps of motivation to make more change in the world. I want to thank all of you guys for doing such a great job this month.
One issue that I have talked about with my friend is the lack of awareness of single use plastic in cafes. Although sitting down to a cafe will usually mean avoiding single use plastics such as take away cups, some cafes are so lazy that they don't even have any glass cups. They give you take away cups regardless of whether you sit down or take it away.
This is an example of how inconsiderate and lazy our race is. How are we going to save the world if cafes cant even be bothered to wash and reuse cups?!
So if you see a cafe that won't offer reusable cups then maybe its time to look for a different coffee...
